Apple AirPods Max Review — MOMO
Apple has done a great job once again and makes an incredible project like anything in the wireless headphone market and the Apple Airpods Max has one of the best wireless earphones. The AirPods Max is not without quirks, but in terms of sound, build quality, and features, they are the best noise-canceling headphones I’ve ever tested.
With the high levels of detail and clarity, the AirPods Max reveals elements in your favorite songs that you may not have noticed before — and that’s the mark of a pair of really fantastic-sounding headphones.
The design, although divisive, is another win for Apple. With large, flat ear cups crafted from hunks of stainless steel, the AirPods Max looks unmistakably ‘Apple’, focussing on simplicity and functionality. The AirPods Max doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack so if you want to use anything other than a Bluetooth-enabled device you’re out of luck unless you ante up for a $35 Lightning-to-3.5mm audio cable from Apple.
They feel premium, more so than the Sony WH-1000XM4, which are largely made from plastic, though that stainless steel build does mean the AirPods Max is rather heavy. We also reviewed about Sony WF-1000XM3 Wireless Earbud, and how it becomes one of the best Wireless Earbud/headphones in the current market.
About the Noise-canceling the Apple Airpods Max did a great job once again, Apple used its full might to become top of the player. The active noise canceling on the AirPods Max is fantastic. Like, really good. This is important because the better your headphones are at preventing outside noise from reaching your ear, the better the chances are that your headphones will sound as good as they can.
The Fit of the Apple Airpods Max To offset that added weight, the Apple AirPods Max comes with a headband made from a knitted mesh fabric that’s designed to reduce on-head pressure. The look of the headband is certainly novel, but after spending time with AirPods Max, we’ve come to appreciate it — they’re very comfortable to wear despite their relative heaviness.
It feels nothing if your head is still, when you on the motion the neck feels a little bit of a weighted pressure that is very common among the overhead earphones. Interestingly, the lack of an audio port isn’t the most divisive design aspect of the AirPods Max; that award goes to the unusual-looking Smart Case, which puts the headphones in an ‘ultralow-power state’, preserving the battery while the headphones aren’t in use.
Last but not least how we will connect the Apple Airpods Max that’s the main part of the product, the connectivity may dissatisfied many of the customers even though the product may be great but the connection part is the main important thing. Connecting the AirPods Max to iOS devices is just as easy as with any of the other H1 enabled devices.
All that you need to do is hold the headphones about two inches away from the device you want to connect to and wait for a small card to pop up. From there just hit the “Connect” button and you’re good to go. The AirPods Max will now automatically connect to all devices on your iCloud account, so you won’t need to redo the process every time
