Breathing is a function of the body that is controlled by the respiratory center of the brain that is the definition of breathing. If we feel stressed you can see the breathing pattern may change.

There is substantial evidence showing that breathing is directly involved in your thought process.

How does relaxation work?

If a person is relaxed they breathe to your nose in a slow manner. That directly shows a calm nature in their nervous system which controls the body’s main functions.

Be sure of the techniques you can use to control your breath.

  1. Sit down with your back straight and close your eyes
  2. Take a Deep Breath through your nose.
  3. Then, After minute comes the Normal Breathing.
  4. Just observe your breath, don’t disturb, just observe

Things to remember

  • Shallow, upper chest breathing is part of the typical stress response.
  • The stress response can be reduced by consciously breathing using the diaphragm.
  • Abdominal breathing helps to control the nervous system and encourages the body to relax, bringing about a range of health benefits.
